As Chair of Gaisce I approved the appointment of Jillian to complete a comprehensive Governance review. We have always strived to establish best practice and this was an opportunity to test that and to see where we could improve.
Jillian completed a most comprehensive review engaging with the myriad of stakeholders including Council members. She was able to present back a report that was practical, informative, impactful and done in a way that no one felt “put upon”. We have accepted and are implementing all of the recommendations. I believe this something that all responsible organisations should do on a regular basis to ensure that best practice is applied.
